The Fine Watch Club is an initiative of the Swiss publishing house GMT Publishing based in Geneva and founded by Mr Brice Lechevalier. The GMT Publishing Group has been publishing the leading watch magazines in Switzerland since 2000, and the leading watch news website WorldTempus launched in 2001. In parallel, the GMT Group owns brands such as the Millennium Watch Book, Geneva Watch Tour, Watch Award Photo, Skippers Magazine and SNG Magazine.

Through all these media and events, Brice Lechevalier and Jean-Christophe Teigner work hand in hand with the Swiss watch industry, recognising them as reliable partners and faithful defenders of fine watchmaking.

JEAN-CHRISTOPHE TEIGNER

FINE WATCH CLUB General Secretary

Through a professional career dedicated to the HNWI target group for over 20 years, Jean-Christophe Teigner can rely on solid international experience and in-depth knowledge of the expectations of high-end customers. Thanks to his vision and past experiences, notably his position as Global Marketing Director at Tiffany & Co., International Marketing Director of the Roger Dubuis Manufacture (Richemont International S.A.) and Marketing and Communication Director at the Edmond de Rothschild Private Bank, a whole new air is opening up for the Fine Watch Club.

Creativity and versatility are his watchwords. A man of the field and a globetrotter who likes to immerse himself in the heart of operations and to favour experience and exchange, Jean-Christophe Teigner will be able to seduce you to spend a moment rich in discovery.

BRICE LECHEVALIER

Founder of the GMT Publishing Group

An entrepreneur at heart, Brice is always bubbling over with ideas and loves to launch new projects.

Creator of the magazines GMT and Skippers, of which he is the editor-in-chief, he is also at the origin of the Geneva Watch Tour and has just given birth to the Fine Watch Club for watch collectors. If at work, his schedule oscillates between yachting and watchmaking; outside of work, he shares his free time between his family and outdoor sports. After running his first marathon in 3 hours and 41 minutes, this lover of challenges has taken his challenges to new heights with the Matterhorn Ultraks in Zermatt and the Sierre-Zinal altitude race, also known as the Course des cinq 4000. The pen and the rhythm are two credos to moving mountains.

THE POWER OF NETWORKING

Looking behind the scenes at watchmakers, attending prestigious and private events, discovering new launches before they are released to the public, and having access to limited editions designed in collaboration with watchmakers, all this is generally out of reach for anyone who is not part of this community. However, the Fine Watch Club can open doors.

Brice Lechevalier, the Club's founder, explains: "The Club aims to open up the world of watchmaking to enthusiasts from all over the world, thanks to the network we have built up over 20 years in Geneva, the cradle of watchmaking. By joining the Club, members benefit from advantages that would be difficult to access without our network. They can get closer to brands whose values they share and with whom we are in daily contact through our activities with WorldTempus and GMT.

A SERIE OF EVENTS

Club members have benefited from exclusive invitations to numerous events, including the GPHG exhibition and its official ceremony, VIP status for the guided tour of Dubai Watch Week - access to the Watches & Wonders Salon - the Monaco Yacht Show - the Watchpro Salon in London - the Geneva Watch Days - the Re-Luxury Fair (first edition in 2022, President Wilson in Geneva) - the Luxury Innovation Summit and many other private events. Please visit our website's "events" section for more information on previous experiences and the 2023 calendar.

So far, the programme has been vibrant with visits to watch factories, practical workshops on watch movements, guided tours of museums, access to private events, as well as the possibility of acquiring new limited series designed in collaboration with prestigious watch brands partnering with the Club. FWC members can therefore enjoy excellent relations in complete confidence, both in terms of the quality of the events offered and the provenance of the watches.
